South Africa's spit braai people, since 2019

Spitbraaiers started in 2019 with one idea: a spit braai should be built to outlive the person who buys it. Not stamped out thin, not imported in a flat-pack box — designed, welded and finished by people who braai on the same units at home.

Today our spits turn on patios, farms, guest lodges and catering trailers from Cape Town to Polokwane. Whether it's a tabletop Mini for two on a Sunday or a 30kg lamb spit feeding a wedding, it's the same steel, the same burners and the same standard of build.

Two approvals matter to us and we don't treat them as decoration. Our gas burners are LPGSA-approved, and our covers are SABS approved. Between those and the 430 BA stainless steel, you're buying equipment that handles real fire, week after week.
