Refunds & returns

We build every unit to last, and we want you happy with it. If something isn't right, here's exactly how we sort it out — no fine print, no runaround.

What can come back

Your item must be in the same condition you received it — unused and in its original packaging — with proof of purchase such as a receipt or order confirmation. All returns must be started within 7 days of you receiving your order. After that 7-day window we can't accept a return.

Starting a return

Mail us at hello@spitbraaiers.co.za or WhatsApp 069 022 5267. If your return is accepted we'll send you a return shipping label and step-by-step instructions on where to send it. Items posted back without authorisation first won't be accepted.

Damaged or incorrect on arrival

Inspect your unit the moment it lands. If anything is damaged in transit, faulty, or the wrong item, contact us straight away with photos. We'll assess it quickly and put it right.

What we can't take back

Some items can't be returned by their nature: perishable goods, custom or made-to-order products, personal care items, hazardous materials, flammable liquids and gases. Sale items and gift cards are not eligible for return or refund either. Not sure about a specific item? Ask us before you order.

Exchanges

The quickest way to swap is to return the original item and place a separate order for the one you want.

Refunds

Once your return reaches us and we've inspected it, we'll let you know whether the refund is approved. Approved refunds go back automatically to your original payment method — allow a few days for your bank or card statement to reflect it.

Please note

  • The buyer carries a 10% handling fee plus a R200 courier charge for return shipping to our warehouse.
  • All returns must be initiated within 7 days of receiving your order.

Warranty

Covers carry a 3-year warranty. Spit braai warranty terms are being confirmed with the workshop — WhatsApp us on 069 022 5267 for the current terms before you order.
